Additional final notes:
Make sure you are using a word processor and not notes on your iPad or something like that.  This need to be a formally written scholarly paper.  It should be 12 point font, Times New Roman.  It should be 3-5 full pages, double spaced with 1 inch margins.  2.5 pages is not 3 pages, it should go all the way down to the bottom of your third page.  Also, it should not have spaces between paragraphs and all sorts of info at the top of the first page.  Make a cover sheet with the relevant info.  Make sure to put citations in proper format.  Also, you should use at least five sources one of which should be a book that is not our textbook.

Homework 5/2/14

U.S. History II-Your Annotated Bibliography is due on Monday, 5/5.  As i mentioned in class, an annotated bibliography is one step beyond your regular bibliography.  You must write a short paragraph analyzing your source and expelling why you chose it and how it will be useful to you.  If you have a book, I do not expect you to read the whole book, but you should at the very least skim it and determine how it will be useful to you.  I have attached a sample bibliography from the Purdue Online Writing Lab which as I have mentioned before is a great resource for writing any kind of paper. Also, notice the tabs on the left side under annotated bibliography, there are other tabs which you can click on which will give you more info on the annotated bibliography if you feel that you need it.
