U.S. History II-Answer both of the following essay questions (we are having our chapter 29 test on Thursday):

1. What do you think was the most significant event of the civil rights movement? Why? Support your argument with evidence. 

2. How did the civil rights movement evolve from the mid-1950s to the late 1960s? Discuss changes in the goals, tone, and leadership of the movement during this period.
